We had an overflow parking lot at my high school and they closed that to make some sort of power plant. Since we are not permitted to park along the street, we became about 100 spaces short... and we were already all fighting to get there earlier so that we could *maybe* get a spot instead of either parking illegally or driving to someone's house who we knew to park there.
