It has been awhile since my last update, yeah? Well, that is because I was having problems posting. I couldn’t get the post text box to show.

Idiot me had forgotten that I had changed my useragent while trying something, and that was the reason I couldn’t post. But all is resolved now.

Speaking of the dead, Happy Halloween! Am I the only one that feels like holidays are getting less and less celebrated?

When I was younger, everyone used to decorate their homes for halloween, trying to make it as scary as possible. Adults would dress up in spooky costumes and jump out at kids to scare them.

And for those that weren’t trick-or-treating or scaring kids, there was always Halloween Parties. Someone was always throwing a huge Halloween party.

But as the years go by, it seems like less and less people are getting into it. Hardly any houses are decorated, no one is chit-chatting about trips to haunted houses or what costume they bought, no one is throwing a party.

No one is even saying “Happy Halloween.”

And not just for Halloween, but for all the holidays. It feels like everyone is too busy or too uninterested to celebrate.

It makes me sad.  I’m usually not a holiday person, but I do like Halloween. When I was younger I used to imagine that when I grew up I would go to huge Halloween parties every year.

Yet now that I’m old enough to party, no one is throwing one. Except one radio station, but I think the club is on the other side of town.

I wish people would slow down and take some time to have fun. Holidays don’t even feel like holidays anymore.

Ooh. here you are.
I “hate” Halloween. I don’t see why we have to adopt every single trend coming from the US.
Especially this one which is someway stupid. How can you go to everyone’s house and ask for something, especially here that no one used to do that? This period used to be a sacred one..

anyway…
:p
No more contests on lastpostwins :(

Halloween is fun! You get to dress up ^^ Take a break from reality and pretend to be a pirate or something (without people giving you weird looks) ^^

And yeah, no more contests :( I wonder if it’ll ever come back~

We have carnivals to do that. Much more freedom to wear what we want and soo funny.

i’m not a fan of halloween, i just don’t like the origin of it. most, if not all holidays, are commercial to me, just to get your cash. there is nothing real behind them. all made up.

however, if its what you like to do, Enjoy! I say to each his own.

The worst one is Valentine’s day, cause you “risk” if you don’t do anything that day.. :-)

ah..women :)

Halloween and New Years are really the only holidays I like. The rest of them I only like because I get holiday breaks at school.

Valentine’s.. ugh. I don’t celebrate it, and when it comes around, I always make sure I mention that I don’t celebrate it, so no one expects anything from me.

Doesn’t always work though. I knew this one guy who knew I didn’t celebrate it, but when it came around he was still upset I didn’t get/do anything for him. He thought he was special to me or something. Like, thought I liked him so much that even though I didn’t celebrate it, I would still do something for him…!

Unfortunately he was wrong and I didn’t get him anything. He was all upset about it x.x

What is wrong with the origin of Halloween? It is based in a religion older than Christianity.

I love Halloween. If we had them, I’d probably love festivals(esp. if there were more of those a year than just one Halloween). But we don’t have those here.
