So, my mom was talking to me the other day and told me some TV show had mentioned some website called wealthymen.com
Which is basically a dating site for women to find guys with money.
Now, I’m not the kind of girl to date for money - but it got me thinking about what it would be like to be rich. Obviously, my lifestyle would change, I would be able to buy more things and live anywhere I wanted.
So, if you were wealthy where would you live and why?
If I was going to stick to my original plan, I would still go to Japan and live in some super nice highrise apartment. Or, if I wanted, I would buy my own house in one of the wealthy neighborhoods.
My second option would be to live somewhere in the Caribbeans. Whichever island is safe but still touristy so I would have many things to do (Cayman islands?).
It would be nice to own a big, open estate on the beach. Lots of windows to let all the light in, high ceilings, nice pool overlooking the beach. It would be a pretty nice life.
Also, would you continue to work - why or why not?
Depending on how much money I had - I probably wouldn’t work most of the time. I wouldn’t mind flipping homes or renting out apartments, but I wouldn’t want a full time job.
But with real estate investments I could work when I wanted to and earn “back up” money just in case anything ever happens.
And I would be paranoid about spending all the money, so I would want to invest every now and then to make sure I wouldn’t ever run out.
So what about you?
I will probably live somewhere around where I live right now, but I’d probably have houses here and there so I can spend some time in my apartment in Tokio or my huge penthouse in London.
Work? yes sure. I’ll probably work on some website so I can do it form anywhere.

IF I were rich I’d have a home in Sydney and a villa in Northern Portugal (a magic place IMO
I’d still work though… you need to, you’d go bonkers otherwise… full time blogging would do as a job though!
