Everyone loves playing games, right? And anyone with an internet connection knows that one of the biggest online games - if not the biggest game - is World of Warcraft (WoW).

Now, I personally don’t play this game (my computer is a little too old to handle it), but I do know that it is hugely popular. In my old web design class, I think I was the only one who didn’t play.

And I know that with games like this there are plenty of newbies - and maybe oldies - that need some help here and there. (After all, no one wants to look like a newbie).

For, for all you WoWers, I introduce to you: Tips & Tricks for WoW.

A blog dedicated to teaching you all the tricks you need to not feel like a complete n00b. Along with the helpful posts, there is also a “Spell of the Day” located on the sidebar.

If you’re into WoW then I suggest you check it out: Tips & Tricks for World Of Warcraft.

Whats the Top Commentators plugin you are using, and does it support wiget or do I have to edit the template file? :)

I’m using this top commentators plugin which I found thanks to Mr. John Chow.

And yes, you have to edit the template file (at least I believe so, it doesn’t say anything about widget support).

Ooh. I’m the Top commentator :-)

Btw. Did I ask you how u managed to be accepted on Text-Link-Ads? I’m still waiting.

About Wow..nice site, but I (used to) prefer to enter into the game and ask there, like it was another world and not just a game :-)

Lol no..I am/was a thottbotter :-)

I’m actually not sure how I managed to get accepted.

I’ve submitted a few sites to them, but they all got rejected because of low link popularity.

But then I submitted the blog, and the program accepted it. I’m not sure why, since it is far less popular than my other pages.

The gallery I run gets several hundred to a thousand or so views a day, while this blog gets maybe 100 if I’m lucky.

I thought maybe it got accepted because it’s a blog (and maybe advertisers prefer blogs?), but if you haven’t been accepted then I don’t know how I managed to get through.

:(
My blog get 20 max 30 readers every day. Sat/Sun I get even less.. :(
I think I need at least 100 readers to get considered. That’s a pity because my Alexa Rank is getting better and better.

(Comments wont nest below this level)

How long ago did you submit it? I only submitted this blog 2 or 3 weeks ago.

And I don’t know if the number of readers really counts, I thought they did it based on alexa ranking and link popularity.

I was really surprised that they accepted this blog, since I set it up about a year ago? But then haven’t been actively using it until recently.

Ah, but then that could be why. Maybe I got accepted because this blog is a year+ old. How old it yours?

And, you managed to get into kontera XD I applied but never got a response x.x

my blog is 4 months old. I posted probably 3 months ago :)
I got into kontera by using Paula’s affiliate number…

Anyway TLA is worth only if someone want to add a link to your site, right? Any Luck?

Comment by ki:ten

Yeah, TLA is only useful when people put links on your site. I haven’t gotten any yet, but I just started using this blog again so I need to work on getting link backs and improving my alexa ranking.

Advertisers don’t wanna pay to put their link on sites that no one visits x.X

Though, you can also make money by being an affiliate and referring others.
