So, I finally looked into that German band called ‘Tokio Hotel’ - and they look interesting.

Honestly, when I heard started seeing pictures I thought they were a Jrock band. Probably due to the fact that I kept seeing them along side jrockers on livejournal communities.

I finally went and checked out some of the music, just a quick listen. Haven’t listened to a lot, but I really like ‘Through the Monsoon’ both the English and German versions.

I’m curious as to why they spelled it “Tokio” instead of “Tokyo”. There is already a Japanese band called “Tokio” so I hope people don’t get them mixed up.

Though, personally, I like the spelling “Tokio” - I’ve actually gone by that name many times online (though not due to the bands, but because I like the city).

I’m going to have to check out more of their music. Anyone listen to them? Know any good songs I just have to listen to?
